Ring with chiastolite

This is one of my favourite stones. It is called chiastolite, but it also has a nickname of fairy cross stone (staurolite is sometimes also called this way).
I cut and polished this stone myself. People with stronger nerves have managed to cut chiastolite so thin that the lighter parts are translucent, but I am not that courageous. For me it is already beautiful, especially with the small orange-brown diamond shape in the middle.
