Wheel coin with grains

A wheel coin is a pendant belonging to traditional clothes in some parts of Estonia. Hundreds of years ago was one such pendant costing as much as the price of one half of a farmstead, so those pendants were passed on to the next generation. A wheel coin pendant consisted of the coin and the spikes around the coin.
The spikes of this wheel coin are dedicated to that day when we drove home with the kids. There is a grain field along the way and there were tractor tracks in it. The kids started to ask for a stop and although I was very tired of the long working day, there was something that told me to comply. I stopped the car, told the kids that they should run only in tractor tracks and let them roam around. I myself sat on a huge stone next to the field and just watched them. There was something very distant and disappearing in that moment when small heads scampered around in the golden field.
